The Weekly Update Volume 9 + 10
Sorry for missing out on posting one of these last week. I was out of town for the majority of it and it took a couple of days to get back into the groove of things. Heck I’m still not totally in the groove of things. Part of that is due to working in retail (I wish I had the energy to put more time into job search) rather still recovering from the trip itself. But this week’s volume will cover stuff from the last two weeks making this a 2-in-1 issue.
BTW the trip was very fun, had good weather the entire time I was in Phoenix. It was just a short trip with my dad to watch some spring training baseball and explore the area. The games were great, my team only won one of the games I went to though. I will say that the Cubs spend so much money on their facility it's kind of crazy. Outside of the games we mostly went out to eat and checked out a ghost town and one of the national parks. Both of which were really cool. The national park had an overlook that you could see the entirety of the Phoenix area.
Music
- EARTHBLADE ~ Across the Bounds of Fate by Lena Raine - It's really cool that they still managed to release something from Earthblade. The songs on this rock and makes wish I could've seen what the game was.
Games
- Xenoblade Chronicles DE - Started to hit a point of me losing interest. I think part of the reason is that the side quest aren’t that interesting and that you aren’t rewarded for exploration. Though I tend to drop off of games when they take more than 20-30 hours to complete. I'll still pick at it every now and then.
- Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon - I forget how much of a fun time waster this game is. I played this a ton on the plane when I was flying on my trip.
Reading
- Vengeful by V.E. Schwab - Finished up reading this over the trip. I thought it was on par with the first book, both of which I like a lot. Really hope she plans to write more stories in this world.
- Hunter x Hunter - Re-reading most of this, everything post chairman selection is new to me. I don't know I like the series but I wish it was more adventure than action, hopefully the dark continent stuff fixes that.
Watching
- The French Dispatch - First time watching this movie and I thought it was excellent. Honestly is probably my favorite Wes Anderson movie.
