The Weekly Update Volume 3
I hate the cold. Recently (like the last ~4 years) I have come to hate the winter months more and more. I still really love the look of undisturbed snow, the blanket of white on a sunny morning is very beautiful. Driving in it on the other hand is awful and I hate it.
Music
- Elen Payne dj sets - I've been listening to these at work to drown out literally everything but the work in front of me. Honestly love how brutal these sound.
- Prayforevilspirit dj set on HÖR - so good, very sci-fi with tings of horror and ambient
Games
The Zero Escape series was on sale on steam for like 5 bucks so I picked them all up and the first AI Somnium Files game. I don’t know if I’ll play them right away since I have a bunch of other visual novels on my backlog right now.
Also grabbed the Monster Hunter humble bundle. Been wanting to try to get back into Monster Hunter since the last one I played was 4 Ultimate on the 3DS. Part of me wanted to wait til Wilds but I also don’t know if my pc can handle it.
- Apex Legends - Starting to get back into the grind a bit, mostly been playing Alter with a bit of Cat here and there.
- Street Fighter 6 - I forgot how frustrating this game can be. I love playing it when I feel like I understand the game but I’m in a lull where I feel like I’m at square one with no grasp of anything. Doesn’t help that I play Cammy and she feels like one of those very hard to master type of characters.
- Guilty Gear Strive - Really need to put more effort into learning the system mechanics.
- Misericorde Vol 2 - I think I’ve come around the whole eroticism and sexual awakening storyline of Hedwig. I finished it along with the hidden chapter didn’t love it as much as volume one but still found the story excellent and can’t for the volume three to come out.
- Monster Hunter Rise - Made my cute hunter girl, dabbled in the intro missions. Also can they just chill on all the tutorial text boxes, cause that was pure information overload.
Reading
- Vengeful by V.E. Schwab - I honestly do not care for the Eli backstory and building up of EON.
- City of Saints and Madmen by Jeff VanderMeer - I realize my issue with some of this book is that parts of it set up like a TTRPG setting source book. Something that I don't care for as this isn't a world that I'm invested in yet.
